Court prohibits solicitation by former executives of high-tech company

Two executives who were the "commercial face" of a high-tech company that was developing an electronic program guide for internet television have been restrained by the NSW Supreme Court, after it found it seriously arguable that they breached their non-solicitation clauses by consulting to a competitor.





ALP not a union patsy: Academic

Unions excluded from agreement-making

Unions at Foster's Brewery in Yatala in Queensland and at the Cochlear implant factory in Sydney say employers at both sites are still insisting on non-union agreements despite employees overwhelmingly endorsing union representation in the agreement-making process.
