In what could become a test case on the impact of the High Court's Re AEU decision on agreements between Victorian Government authorities and unions, the Country Fire Authority is arguing before the Federal Court that the landmark 1995 ruling renders invalid the recruitment clauses it agreed to in its 2010 enterprise agreement with the United Firefighters Union.
