Sydney Water to pay damages for supervisor's "weak and unfunny" racist joke

Sydney Water and a supervisor must pay $5,000 in damages over a "weak and unfunny" racist joke that was told in the workplace in the presence of an Aboriginal worker, but the Federal Magistrates Court has refused to find that the incident was part of systemic discrimination at the utility.
