Employer to pay damages and deliver apology for pregnancy/carer discrimination

The Federal Magistrates Court has ordered a disability support organisation to pay a worker $44,000 in damages and interest for discriminating against her because of her pregnancy and childcare responsibilities, while its board must issue a written apology.
