Employee wins damages for loss of chance to earn bonus

A highly-paid corporate employee was entitled to $74,000 in damages for her employer's failure to assess whether she had earned annual bonuses during her five-year career, but the amount should be offset against an earlier ex gratia payment, the NSW Court of Appeal has ruled.
