Campaigns put CPSU in the red despite big membership gain; MEAA records surplus

A record increase of 9,000 new members during the 2014-2015 financial year was not enough to prevent the CPSU recording a $422,000 deficit, while the MEAA has revealed in its annual report that controlling staffing levels was one of the key factors in moving from a $700,000 deficit in 2013-14 to a $350,000 profit.
