AWU leader praises Victorian branch for "discarded" anti-member practices

AWU Victorian secretary Ben Davis says he felt "decidedly uncomfortable" after discovering that a construction company was paying membership fees on behalf of its employees, even if they were not members, while the union's national secretary has today backed Davis for identifying and discarding unsatisfactory practices.
