APS Commissioner warns that recruitment curbs could hurt public service

The Federal Government's restrictions on federal agencies advertising to fill vacant positions are "intrusive" and could lead to "unpredictable impacts on the capability of the APS" if maintained for too long, Australian Public Service Commissioner Stephen Sedgwick has warned.
