Amendment bill receives Royal Assent ahead of January 1 start date
The federal government's first tranche response to the Fair Work Act review has received Royal Assent, with the bulk of the changes - including to the tribunal's name - to take effect from January 1 next year and those relating to super funds in modern awards a year later.
