"Waste of public resources" to continue jailed worker's case: FWC
The FWC has thrown out an unfair dismissal claim by an IT worker who is in prison until at least August next year and is suffering a mental illness, finding he "is not in a position, physically or mentally, to prosecute his case" and keeping it on foot "flies in the face of the efficient use of public resources".
