SJSP a platform for big rises: RTBU

On-hire casual assistant train drivers placed at rail giant Pacific National are set for pay rises of more than $49,000 a year, plus higher penalty payments, under same-job, same-pay orders won by the RTBU that also provide the first "recurring extended exemption period" that permits the host to use labour hire at reduced rates of pay to meet a spike in demand for up to six months, during the grain harvesting season.
