Minimum rates rise could have cost up to 20,000 jobs: AFPC-commissioned report

The Fair Pay Commission's decision this week to freeze minimum wages was partly informed by a consultant's report that warned an increase could lead to the loss of up to 20,000 jobs, with the pain borne most heavily by workers dependent on pay scales.
