Government entitled to reject Ashby's "act of grace" payment: Court

The Federal Court has ended parliamentary staffer James Ashby's bid for a $4.5 million "act of grace" payment arising from his sexual harassment case against former Speaker Peter Slipper, ruling that the Government's rejection of his application did not constitute adverse action.
