Gillard directs AIRC to make standalone modern award for restaurants and cafes
Workplace Relations Minister Julia Gillard has directed the AIRC's President, Justice Geoffrey Giudice, to create a separate modern award for the restaurant, cafe and catering sector that contains appropriate penalty and overtime rates.
