Appeal court sinks teeth into "employee" definition

Victoria's Court of Appeal has ruled that the owner of a dental practice who stayed on after selling the business had been engaged as an independent contractor because he worked for his own commercial benefit, after in-depth consideration of the High Court's landmark Personnel Contracting and Jamsek rulings.
