A group of 11 mineworkers who contested Rio Tinto subsidiary Coal & Allied's decision to make them redundant on merit rather than seniority have won their jobs back, in a ruling that might lead to the reinstatement of a further 100 of their former Hunter Valley No.1 colleagues.
