Maternity pay scheme affordable: Goward
The $213m net cost of a 14-week publicly-funded paid maternity leave scheme is affordable and means there is no financial barrier to it being introduced in the next Federal Budget, Sex Discrimination Commissioner Pru Goward said today as she released her final report on the subject.
