Lack of data security evidence thwarts MSD at BHP

The FWC has warned that unions must be able to demonstrate that majority support petitions, surveys and vote data have been "properly obtained, stored and protected", in a ruling rejecting a MSD bid at BHP's iron ore operations because it could not verify information that the ETU converted into an Excel spreadsheet.
