Car wash fined for dismissal of intellectually disabled worker
A car wash operator has been fined $3000 by the Federal Court for its "despicable" conduct in dismissing a worker for his intellectual disability, and the AIRC has ruled that the sacking of a Telstra "000" operator for failing to adhere to policies and procedures was fair despite her 26 years of service.
