AWR increases sheltering low-paid from wage decline: RBA
The FWC's July award wage increases do not appear to have resulted in "larger-than-normal spillovers" to non-award workers' wages, and some employers report offsetting Annual Wage Review rises by providing lower increases for workers on individual contracts or covered by agreements, according to the Reserve Bank.
